The Westside missions program aims to create a Christ-centered program that allows students to be servant-learners, discover their gifts, experience authentic community, and live a life of love following the Way of Jesus.
pROGRAM PURPOSE
In partnership with committed WCHS parent(s)/guardian(s) and missionaries, the ENGAGE program's purpose is to create a Christ-centered program that provides students the opportunity to be servant-learners, discover their gifts, experience authentic community, and live a life of love following the Way of Jesus. Service experiences are oriented toward compassionate mission outreach and cultural awareness.
The teams will participate in team-building activities and missionary and discipleship training to prepare for the trip. In every case, local or abroad, we desire that Westside Christian students will model Christ's way of love as they engage the needs of others and build relationships.
